Mother Goose by Pip Hill 27th December 2008 - 10th January 2009 Following the success of last year’s pantomime, ‘Ali Baba’, we are returning to The Exeter Barnfield Theatre over the Christmas holiday with this year’s festive offering of fun and frivolity, in the form of ‘Mother Goose’. Company member Pip Hill has written this year’s pantomime following the success of ‘Cinderella’ in 2004 and ‘Sleeping Beauty’ in 2006. Join Gertrude Goose on her moralistic journey fighting good against evil and teaching us that youth, beauty and riches alone, cannot bring you happiness. It is what’s within you that is important and the love of a true friend. The story is told in a traditional way with loveable characters, plenty of fun, lashings of slapstick and songs you can sing along to. So come and join us and immerse yourselves in the magical world of pantomime; shout, sing, boo and cheer. Look out for our special goose and who knows you might spot a golden egg or two along the way! Book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. With fun for all the family, it’s a show not to be missed.
